Prof. Jonathan Annan

Jonathan Annan is an Associate Professor of Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain Management at KNUST School of Business, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.His research focuses on the interface between transport operations, logistics and supply chain management. His research has won multiple awards including the 2017 Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy Best Conference paper.

Jonathan has published in leading scholarly journals such as Journal of Business Research, Psychology and Marketing, and Thunderbird International Business Review. His teaching interests include operations management, business statistics and mathematics, quantitative methods, and logistics and supply chain management.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Master’s Degree in Industrial Management and Doctor of Philosophy in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He is currently the Director of Postgraduate Studies, Coordinator of PhD Research Programmes and Deputy Director of West Africa Institute of Supply Chain Leadership (WAISCL)-KNUST School of Business. He is a Council Member-West African Examination Council. Previously, Head of Department of Supply Chain and Information System at KNUST School of Business, Jonathan Annan has consulted for several companies and Government of Ghana on transportation, logistics and supply chain policies.
