Dr. Egina Francis Makwabe

Dr Egina Francis Makwabe is the current chairman of the board of the Association of Private Health Facilities in Tanzania (APHFTA). His is also the Chief Medical director of the Africa Healthcare Network Tanzania which provides dialysis services in Africa. He is the founder and Chief Executive Director of Medicorps specialized clinic, Dar es salaam, Tanzania. He completed his medical training from Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College, Tanzania and subsequently obtained master of Medicine in internal medicine from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS), Dar es salaam, Tanzania. He completed his Msc in Nephrology from Muhimbili University (MUHAS), Tanzania and fellowship attachment at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, India.

He is a member of Nephrology Society of Tanzania, Medical Association of Tanzania and International Society of Nephrology (ISN).
